Bender LEAP Program

Leaders in Education Applications Program

Bring real-world electrical safety and power system technology into the classroom with hands-on equipment, training, and curriculum support from Bender.

What Is the Bender LEAP Program?

The Bender LEAP Program, or Leaders in Education Applications Program, helps universities, technical colleges, and workforce-development programs bring real-world electrical safety and power system technology into the classroom.

Through LEAP, educators receive affordable access to Bender equipment, online training, and curriculum support designed to prepare students for careers in electrical engineering, industrial power, manufacturing, energy, electric vehicles, and infrastructure.

Hands-On Learning for Real-World Applications

LEAP connects classroom instruction with the equipment and safety practices used in industrial and commercial power systems. Students can gain experience with ground-fault detection, resistance grounding, insulation monitoring, system testing, troubleshooting, and electrical safety best practices.

Participating schools receive access to:

  • Bender demonstration products for classroom and laboratory use
  • Bender Academy online training and certifications
  • Curriculum modules with lessons and laboratory activities, coming soon
  • Bender’s EV Student Racing promotion and hands-on applications

Preparing Students for Industry

By working with real equipment and practical applications, students develop a stronger understanding of electrical safety, risk prevention, and critical-power systems used in hospitals, factories, energy systems, electric vehicles, and other industrial environments.
