Before joining Bender, Gift built a strong foundation in accounting through a variety of roles, including Cash Office Assistant, Accounts Payable Specialist, and Sales and Use Tax Accountant. She later advanced to Staff Accountant positions at Genesis Healthcare and Lasko Products, where she further developed her expertise in financial management and accounting operations.
At Bender, Gift serves as a Senior Accountant, focusing on the day-to-day accounting operations for Bender Canada. Her responsibilities include posting vendor invoices, recording banking transactions, processing employee expense reports, performing intercompany account reconciliations, and managing month-end close activities. In addition, she supports the accounting function for Bender Inc. by posting month-end journal entries, completing intercompany and general ledger reconciliations, filing sales tax returns, and providing overall support to the accounting team.
Gift enjoys working at Bender, where the smaller, close-knit environment allows her to collaborate across departments and build strong relationships with colleagues. She values being part of an accounting team that supports one another both professionally and personally, and she especially appreciates the company’s fun team-building events—particularly when management joins in on the activities!
Originally from Thailand, Gift has lived in the United States since 2011. Outside of work, she’s a proud and busy mom to her almost six-year-old son, Dino, and their beloved dog, Ginny. She enjoys keeping Dino active and engaged by exploring parks, playgrounds, aquariums, museums, and other kid-friendly destinations. Together, they’ve created a travel bucket list to visit a new country every two years. When she has time to herself, Gift enjoys reading, listening to music, browsing through Marshalls, T.J. Maxx, or Terrain, and relaxing at home. She watches Thai TV daily, enjoys Thai novels, and jokes that if she goes more than two days without rice, something just feels missing!
