Before joining Bender, Horace worked as an engineering technician before transitioning into the field-service world, beginning his career in service with AT&T. His early roles gave him a strong technical foundation and a passion for hands-on problem-solving in customer environments.
At Bender, Horace supports customers across Florida by visiting their sites to ensure proper installation and optimal functionality of our products—especially our isolated power panels. He takes pride in making sure each system is operating safely, accurately, and to Bender’s high standards.
What Horace enjoys about Bender is the laid-back, yet professional culture, and the close-knit feel of his team. He believes in the company’s mission and appreciates being seen as more than just an employee number. “I’m not just an employee, I’m Horace, our guy in Florida.”
Outside of work, Horace has an extensive action-figure collection paying tribute to classic 80s cartoons and Star Wars. He jokes that he would have become a Jedi, but Bender’s benefits were better.
His favorite Bender products are the isolated power panels, because, as he says with a smile, “they keep me employed.”
