Isolationsüberwachung
Isolationsüberwachungsgeräte (auch Isolationswächter) überwachen permanent den Isolationswiderstand von IT-Systemen (ungeerdete Netze) und geben bei Unterschreitung eines Ansprechwertes eine Meldung ab.
Zur Messung wird das Gerät zwischen dem IT-System und dem Schutzleiter (PE) angeschlossen und dabei dem Netz ein Messstrom überlagert, der von einer Messschaltung erfasst und ausgewertet wird. Isolationsüberwachungsgeräte erkennen Verschlechterungen des Isolationsniveaus frühzeitig und sicher.
